Getting to know Don

What do you enjoy most about working at RTD?

There are many enjoyable aspects of working at RTD. The one that I enjoy the most is that we share the same commitment to providing people first service when serving our clients.

What makes you good at what you do?

What makes me good at what I do is my relatability to those that I interact with. I have learned in my experience that people, teams, organizations, and businesses may have the same goal and being able to relate to them and/or the process will make the entire process more enjoyable.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

Dedication over motivation. In life you can be motivated for a brief period to reach a goal, but with dedication you will be able to sustain those goals.

What are your passions outside of work?

My passion outside of work would be coaching and guiding youth. I have coached high school football and worked with the Norristown Men of Excellence for years because I love guiding individuals while helping them reach their goals. Seeing them succeed and then return to give back as well is one of my joys in life.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Growing up I wanted to be a professional football player. Even though that did not happen I learned life skills along the way. Football has taught me the value of teamwork and self-discipline while instilling in me core values like accountability, mental strength, and versatility.
