She’s an avid reader and especially enjoys historical fiction and nonfiction, and a good mystery. Beth loves travel, live concerts, theatre, and other cultural events. Originally from Central NY she favors spending time in the mountains and on lakes visiting friends and family “upstate.” She has traversed many miles on Rail Trails, county parks and nature preserves.

What do you enjoy most about working at RTD?
RTD People! We live and breathe our Core Values. We collectively foster a nurturing and empowering culture. It is so gratifying to witness the personal growth and fulfillment that results from this culture. Everyone sincerely cares about our clients and each other, our passion is evident in all we do. We work hard, but we have FUN!
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a teacher. I have a thirst for learning and have had many great teachers who enlightened and encouraged me. Some were academic teachers, others professional mentors. I’ve had many opportunities to give back by mentoring others throughout my career and am grateful to have had some influence on their success.
What’s the most exciting vacation you’ve taken?
A European cruise. Although it started out with our luggage not making it from the airport to the ship until two ports after we first sailed. Thankfully, our carry-on bags had some essentials and extra clothing! Viewing Grand Prix racing on the streets of Monaco was thrilling. My ancestors migrated from Castagna in the Calabria region of Italy and my dear grandfather Raffaele later worked in brickyards along the Hudson River. When we drove past brickyards in Tuscany his presence was deeply felt. We enjoyed an amazing meal and wines from the vineyards of Castello di Verrazano, then on to San Gimignano. This town centers on a square of medieval homes and a church. I love reading about medieval times and to walk among the walls and towers of this ancient and still vibrant town was an amazing experience.
