As the Human Resources Specialist, Willie works with RTD employees to resolve issues at the lowest level and develop creative solutions to ensure everyone can focus on their objectives and reach their full potential. His responsibilities include nurturing, encouraging, and supporting a thriving team culture. Willie assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies, as well as ensures that RTD is incompliance with Federal and state labor laws. He is a Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR®), and Professional Management.
Before starting at RTD, Willie worked at AUI Power in the role of Project Manager Support. Willie also served in the United States Air Force as an Aerospace Propulsion Craftsman before becoming a Human Resources Manager. He started at RTD this year after working at AUI Power for 16 months. Willie graduated with a bachelor’s in human resources management from the University of Mount Olive in 2016. The biggest highlight of his career is helping RTD become more efficient so that the firm can better serve clients.
Willie was born in Oxford, England and moved to Vacaville, California and recently moved to Elkton, Maryland. He lives with his wife Amy, and four of his six children. Willie is the youngest of four children. He enjoys going on hikes and biking with his family.
