Getting to know Gavin

What do you enjoy most about working at RTD?

The people! Everyone at the firm is both top-notch professionals and outstanding human beings. At RTD, I know the client’s interests come first, no matter what.

What makes you good at what you do?

Curiosity, strategic thinking, and a desire to help people drive me to ask whether there’s a smarter, more efficient way to structure a plan; this leads to creative, forward-thinking solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. I’m passionate about demystifying complex financial strategies to make our clients feel informed and confident in their decisions.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

My ice hockey coach growing up always preached accountability. He would say that everyone is going to make mistakes, but the important part is owning it and learning from the experience.

What’s the most exciting vacation you’ve taken?

In 2021, I chose to pursue a lifelong dream of thru hiking the Appalachian Trail in lieu of attending Temple virtually. It was one of the best times of my life where I met amazing people, experienced beautiful scenery, and learned so much about myself.
