Getting to know Andrew
What do you enjoy most about working at RTD?
RTD feels like a second family to me. There’s a true sense of selflessness here, as we celebrate each other’s successes and work collaboratively to achieve both our goals as wells as our clients. RTD has played a significant role in helping me grow both personally and professionally. Even though I am in the early stages of my career, I feel confident that I am in the best place to thrive alongside my colleagues.
What makes you good at what you do?
The people around me. At RTD Financial, I’ve had the privilege of working with a team of experienced professionals in the financial planning industry. Their insights and support have sharpened my skills and strengthened my passion for delivering client-centered financial solutions.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
The best advice I’ve received is to always stay curious and never stop learning. In the financial planning industry, adaptability and continuous learning are essential to providing the best possible guidance for clients while fostering personal and professional growth.
What personal accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of earning my college degree. I wasn’t a strong student in high school, so graduating required a lot of growth, discipline, and perseverance. It’s a testament to how far I’ve come and what I can achieve when I set my mind to something.
What’s the most exciting vacation you’ve taken?
The most exciting vacation I’ve taken would either be to Alaska or the Dominican Republic—two polar opposites in terms of climate and experience. Alaska offered breathtaking natural beauty, with glaciers, wildlife, and serene landscapes that felt untouched by time. On the other hand, the Dominican Republic was vibrant and warm, with stunning beaches, lively culture, and the perfect environment for relaxation. Both trips were unforgettable in their own unique ways, and I would highly recommend either destination!
