Latifa started her career at RTD on the client service team, scheduling client meetings, managing virtual document storage and processing quarterly investment reports. She is currently transitioning to the investment team, where her responsibilities include trading and rebalancing investment portfolios and managing liquidity accounts.
Latifa graduated from Community College of Philadelphia with her associate’s degree in Science in May 2006. From there she went to Temple University to earn her bachelor’s degree in Natural Science in May 2010. Her favorite subjects throughout her entire scholastic career are Science and Math. She is currently a member of the Investment Policy Committee, Client Service Committee, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and the Corporate Social Responsibility Committee at RTD.
As an active member of her church, Latifa loves to sing and direct the choir. She appreciates music, fine dining and having fun with her husband, four children, and dog, Chelsea. One fun fact about her family is her husband, children and even the dog all have the same initials. Her passion is to help the African American community become more educated about financial planning.
