Getting to know Elaine

What do you enjoy most about working at RTD?

When you work at RTD, you are part of a large awesome family that treats you with respect.  You are listened to and your efforts are appreciated.

What makes you good at what you do?

Most people find this hard to believe but I really enjoy taxes.  I like preparing income tax returns and keeping current with tax information.  I want clients not to stress about their taxes and make their tax situation understandable to them.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?

The best piece of advice I received was to start saving early.  I opened an IRA account with my first part time job in high school and have always contributed the most I could to my 401(k).

What’s the most exciting vacation you’ve taken

My first trip to Europe was to Italy.  My husband and I visited Rome, Florence and Venice.  The historical sites, quaint little cafes and gelato are unforgettable.
